MakerSpace Donations
We're gearing up for more making! Donations graciously accepted! Thank you for supporting the MV Maker Movement!
Mountain View's MakerSpace provides an avenue to integrate the Arts and 21st Century skills to create STEAM opportunities for students. To provide our students with various reusable, recycled, or new materials to invent, create, build, and program, we are reaching out to the school community. Please keep us in mind for building items used to create prototypes. The MakerSpace is in need of one small, sturdy, foldable table and one basic, portable sewing machine. To view the list and sign-up - click here! Items can be sent in or dropped off at school during normal school hours.

Parents - Coding with Kids
We live in a world surrounded by technology. And we know that whatever field our students choose to go into as adults, their ability to succeed will increasingly hinge on understanding how technology works. That's why our school is joining in on the largest learning event in history: The Hour of Code, during Computer Science Education Week (Dec. 7-13)! Our Hour of Code is a statement that MVES is ready to teach these foundational 21st century skills. A number of apps, software, and guides have been produced that make the subject of computer coding easy to grasp for young learners. Here's a couple of resources:
